Truss screed flooring

What is a truss screed?

Truss screed is a common concrete leveling machine used to smooth concrete floor slabs. The machine is assembled by coupling, the connection is made by quick coupling, so it is convenient to dismantle and can be used in any width concrete leveling works. It provides a good level of endurance.

We are the leading industrial truss screed flooring service in Kolkata and provide the best industrial flooring service.

How do truss screeds work.-
  1. Slowly increase the throttle after starting the engine.
  2. To keep the screed even, engage or turn the winch handles simultaneously. Use the flow controls instead of adjusting the throttle on the engine to slow down or speed up the hydraulic winches.
  3. If the concrete builds up on the front blade, it stresses the screed and is strenuous to the operators operating the winches.
  4. The concrete shouldn’t extend past the bolts that hold the blades in place. When this happens, stop the screen and let the vibrations do their work.
  5. If the concrete is not being added at the proper rate, slow down the screed to compensate.
What is the purpose of a screed floor?

Floor screed is most commonly used to level out a concrete sub-base, especially when it is particularly uneven, as well as giving more tolerance in the application of sensitive floor finishes and supporting stress during the drying process.

Is screed flooring good?

If you're looking to cover underfloor heating and/or create a solid, smooth base for the top floor, you'll need to screed your floor.

    Is screed better than concrete?

Concrete: When mixing concrete it is usual to use gravel or another similar aggregate.  This is what gives the concrete its coarse looks and increased strength which lends well to construction and structural work.  Screed:  Screed also contains cement and water but the aggregate is usually sand with small fine grains of 4mm or less.  This means that screed works well as a top layer because it has a finer,  more compacted texture.
